Terms of Service

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of the Transfo macOS application and the transfo.dev website. By purchasing a license or using the app you agree to these terms.

2. License grant

A Transfo Pro license is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for one person, activatable on up to 3 Macs you own or control. You may move activations between machines using "Deactivate This Mac" in the app. Licenses may not be resold or shared publicly.

3. Bring your own key (BYOK)

Transfo sends text to the AI provider you configure using your own API key. You are responsible for your provider account, its costs, and for complying with the provider's terms (OpenAI, Google, OpenRouter). AI output can be wrong; review it before relying on it. Transfo is not responsible for provider availability, pricing, or output quality.

4. Updates and warranty

Pro licenses include app updates. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

5. Refunds

See our Refund Policy at /refunds. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.

6. Termination

We may deactivate license keys that are publicly shared, resold, or obtained fraudulently. Honest mistakes are resolved by support, not termination.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
